At 73 years young, Michael Henry is putting himself through one of the toughest challenges and all to raise money for Heart of Tamworth!
Michael’s Epic Bike Challenge will see him cover a staggering 1,000 miles in just 14 days from 12th-25th May 2024. Organised and supported by ride with PEDAL BRITAIN.
This is a difficult challenge for anyone, but Michael is also struggling with worsening arthritis in his knees to add an extra layer of difficulty.
Without the generosity and selflessness of people like Michael, we wouldn’t be able to continue the essential work we do for members of our local community.
The money raised from Michael’s challenge will help us continue to provide food parcels to over 450 families in the local area to help during school holidays, it will help fund our new food pantry and pre-loved clothes store, as well as supporting the many other groups and projects held weekly in our community centre.
