XPO is a food distribution company in Tamworth. Damaged packs of food used to be dumped but now they have, generously, turned to us.
We have become a hub for food distribution to charities throughout the town. The food is stored at HoT premises and then, thanks to Simon Peaple who does all the work, packs of food are collected to be used in our night shelter, Saturday breakfast club, Phoenix Youth Group, for local families in need or brought to Foodbank, Cornerstone Housing, Homestart, Community Together and other groups in the area. It amounts to huge savings for charities and great benefit for people in need. Thank-you XPO and Simon.
