This week we have delivered one of our largest School Food Parcel Projects since we first started. With help from the Tamworth Co-operative Society who not only supplied over £11,000 worth of food but also helped us pack and deliver it!
We’ve been able to provide 500 food parcels to families struggling with food poverty during the school holidays in Tamworth, North Warwickshire, Lichfield, and Burton-Upon-Trent.
The project has been partly funded by money raised through Co-op carrier bag sales. Keep your eyes peeled for coverage of this amazing project on ITV news this evening!
